Overview:
The Toledo Salvation Army is seeking a clothing sorter to perform a variety of functions in order to assist in the operation of the clothing sorting area of our Toledo Production Center. 

Duties:
  • Assist as required with sorting room operation.
  • Cross-train in all sorting room functions under the guidance of the Sorting Room Supervisor.
  • Assist in cleaning and general maintenance of sorting room area.
  • Maintain a clean and clutter free work area.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor and/or Administrator 
  • Process and sort donations by inspecting and separating saleable from unsaleable items.
  • Deliver a minimum of 300 store quality garments per hour.
  • Categorize and box seasonal clothing, bric, and shoes.
  • Process, hang, and tag all sorted merchandise.
  • Ensure clothes are hung according to policy and on proper hanger.
  • Ensure that tag is properly placed on garment according to Salvation Army policy.
